These amusing, quirky, surreal tales are enjoyable and satisfying but also point out a dark reality: the serious threat to rhinoceroses by poachers, who brutually cut off the horns and let the creatures die.The first tale is a paranormal love story. The second is about a researcher who talks to rhinoceros and toils to save them. The third, well, it's difficult to describe without spoilers. Like the others it's a fantasy with a surprise turn.
The author does a good job in conveying the characters' affection for these creatures and getting the reader to root for them. Recommended for anyone who cares about preserving wildlife and enjoys fantasy or science fiction.
